XRSPACE is focused on enabling people to connect and express their creativity in immersive virtual worlds. At the end of 2023, the company redefined its avatar strategy, inviting internal proposals for a new product.
I co-created the 3D Reel concept. The idea was developed into Humi’s flagship feature, launching in Taiwan and Japan in early 2025. I was involved from concept validation and UX flow to cross-functional delivery.

XRSPACE has long focused on avatars and immersive social experiences, with avatars as its core asset. After exploring different 3D interaction formats through earlier products like GOXR (virtual performances) and PartyOn (music-based social platform), the company decided to reset its product line in late 2023.

In past XRSPACE products (GOXR, PartyOn), engagement relied heavily on simultaneous online presence. Outside of scheduled events, users had little reason to log in, and the lack of shareable or on-demand content limited organic growth.

Moving from 360° space to a flat screen reduced immersion. To restore presence, we leveraged the 3D space advantage of multiple angles, inspired by how concerts are filmed with dynamic cuts. 3D Reel introduced an AI-camera system that automatically frames and transitions shots, giving creators polished stage-like results without extra effort.
